Scholarships for Leadership Excellence in Honor of
John Klocko

People at the awarding of the Klocko Scholarships
On May 29th 2009, people gathered to watch the awarding of three Klocko scholarships to students of Arundel High School, South River High School, and Southern High School. Former Maryland Delegate, Marsha Perry Marsha Perry was the key note speaker. She explained how John Klocko had been an exceptional leader. She also recounted many humorous anecdotes.
Karen Klocko Doctor Karen Klocko presented the scholarships to three young women. Mary Rosekrans Mary Rosekrans of Arundel High School was the first to receive an scholarship. She will be going to Towson University to study Criminal Justice. Erika Yost Erika Yost of South River High School will be going to The School of Visual Arts in New York City to major in Advertising Design. Kara Barnhart Kara Barnhart of Southern High School will be attending Loyola University of Maryland.
