Night Out Against Crime

Target provided food, freebees and workers The good folk at Target provided hotdogs,
water, freebee's and workers.
350 hotdogs 350 hotdogs as well as 500 bottles of water were given away.
Ice to cool the water was provided by
Chick Fil-A in Waugh Chapel. Thank you Joel.
Sam Crispin and George Clapp cooking hotdogs Sam Crispin, husband of a librarian, and George Clapp
of the nearby Coventry I did the cooking.
The gift table At the Target gift table all sorts of kid stuff
was given away. Thank you Joe Danahy.
Relieable Contracting Co. provided funds Reliable Contracting Company provided funds

Crofton Regional Community Center tent Volunteers from the CRCC were:

Demonstartion of Skateboarding The CRCC would like to have a skateboard park. Skateboarding demonstration So there were demonstrations of safe skateboarding.
Crowd for police dog demonstrations The police dog demonstrations attracted a large crowd.
And he wouldn't let go. And he wouldn't let go. Nice doggie. Nice doggie.

AA County Police Department.
Chief Booth, Crofton Police and
Sgt. Charles Simmons, DNR
Both the county police and the Crofton police were there. Both the county police and the Crofton police were there.
Armored car One of the county's two armored cars was on display. Sheriff Ron Bateman Sheriff Ron Bateman was also there.
The fire department was present. The fire department had a number of vehicles present.
The workings of various vehicles were displayed. The workings of various vehicles were displayed Tours were given. Some time before the end of the Night Out,
the fire people got a call and had to leave.
That was exciting.
GCC GCC members, Bob and Madonna Brennan and Bess Sharland
helped make Night Out possible.
Jody Leddy Some how I managed not to photograph Jody Leddy of the
county executive's office
who was instrumental in making Night Out happen!


There were other booths and displays who I have managed to forget their names. Sorry.

As a personal note, I would like to thank, George Clapp for providing his grill and work, Paul Klintworth for letting me borrow his grill. A big thank you to Lucas of Coventry I, who gave me and a grill a lift to the Night Out. Thanks to Sam Crispin for getting George and his grill back home. And thank you Barbara for having Sam there!
